Your world is spinning. Everything that once felt solid has suddenly become unsteady under your feet. Just thinking about the future makes your heart race and muscles tense.

In your heart, you know divorce was the right choice, but you didn’t realize how destabilizing it would be. You’ve begun to question things you once took for granted. “Who am I without my spouse? Am I strong enough to make it on my own? Has everything I’ve done up until now been a waste?”

You’re angry, hurt, and sad. These emotions are causing a whirlwind in your everyday life.

For so long, you allowed another person to define you that you’re unsure how to define yourself.

Although you want to be strong and confident enough to take charge of your life, it feels hopeless.

Empowerment Through Divorce™ can help you find you’re a new way of being.

Seeking therapy for divorce recovery is a wise decision that can significantly assist you in your journey toward healing.

In this 10-week program you will find a nonjudgmental space where you can explore your emotions, process your grief and anger, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself.

In this program, we provide you with valuable tools and techniques to manage the challenges that come with divorce, such as the anger and hurt that you feel, and how you find your new identity while building your self-esteem.

We delve into your thoughts and emotions surrounding the divorce, learn to make yourself a priority again, identify any patterns or behaviors that may be hindering your healing process, and develop healthy coping mechanisms to move forward positively while forgiving yourself and others.

FAQ

When will I feel normal again?

Everyone process and heals at different times. It is important that you honor your own timeline without a preconceived notion of what your timeline should be.

This program will give you a 10-week deep dive into the story that you are currently telling yourself, and where you may be stuck. We will work through those stuck points, and offer you a foundation from your current narrative to one of healing and peace.

What if I need to continue to see my Ex for co-parenting?

It can be challenging to have to continually interact with someone that you have so many feelings around. As you begin to work on your own healing journey, and learn to forgive yourself and others, the goal is for it to be easier to view them as a teammatea so that you may co-parent while also developing your own identity.

What if I am the one that ended the relationship?

Divorce can be a difficult and emotional journey, and whether you initiated it or not you will have healing to do. This program delves into your underlying feelings about the parts of you that you may blame. There is no room for blame in this next chapter! It is time for healing and renewal.

How long are the sessions?

The Empowerment Through Divorce™ program is a structured intensive therapy program. We will meet once a week for 50 minutes, either virtually or in person, and once a week for a 15-minute accountability call.
